"Stealth clothing. Fire retardant, nullifies heat detection."

Some stealth clothing was given to Snake Plissken by the USPF for his 2013 mission. The clothing was made of a material that is fire retardant and nullifies heat detection. Plissken was presented with a sleeveless shirt, slacks, overcoat and pair of boots.

Behind the ScenesEdit

Concept and designEdit

Department head Robin Bush oversaw the construction of the new Snake costume. Global Effects made roughly 26 suits. Pia Gilman designed the "stealth pattern" on the suit. GE also made the gun belt and eye patch.

Legacy and merchandisingEdit

  • To date, the only figure to feature an article of stealth clothing is the 2000 McFarlane Toys Movie Maniacs figure. Only the overcoat is included, and Snake is wearing his civilian clothes underneath.
